What kind of Gluten-free Goodness will YOU be getting into this weekend?

Happy Hump Day Gluten-free followers! As we turn towards the better half of the week :)   and look to the weekend we here at Rudi’s gluten-free Bakery R looking forward to getting back into GF events!  Will you attend any gluten-free events this year? If so which ones, we would love to know!  We have a jammed packed schedule this year as we R ready to hit the event scene running and share more about R awesome bread with you!  So be sure to come by and say hello to us the next time you see R robin blue GF signs shimmering at your local gluten-free event!

This weekend we will kick off the event year with TWO awesome east coast showings! The first is on Saturday January 28th from 9:00am – 2:00 pm in Monroeville, Pa!  Here is a little more information about the Celiac Awareness Tour and what to expect if you are attending this event!

“The Celiac Awareness Tour is a multi-city series of expos that promote Celiac disease education and gluten free products. Over 150 vendors and thousands of attendees participated in our 2011 events. In 2012 the Celiac Awareness Tour stops in eight key Midwest cities, including Chicago, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville and Cleveland. Each stop features presentations by Celiac disease experts, celebrity chef demonstrations and dozens of gluten free food and beverage exhibits from local and national gluten free food manufacturers. Also in the happening this weekend on Sunday January 29th is the “Healthy Villi Conference” at Wellesley Hills Campus in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts!  Head on over to the campus and check it out! Here are some more details about the event and be sure to come by R vendor table and say hello!

“The January keynote speaker will be Harold N. Rosen, M.D., of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Rosen will speak about the risks of osteoporosis for people with celiac disease. The January meeting will include a workshop for people newly diagnosed with celiac disease, as well as three cooking demonstrations: Keeping Warm in Winter with Gillian O’Callaghan; Passover-Style Cooking with Rebecca Reilly, and Baked Goods Scandinavian Style with Anna Simon. There will be a Q&A session with a physician and dietitian, lots of vendor tables, and a delicious gluten-free buffet lunch. Register now to reserve your place.”

Not in Massachusetts or Pennsylvania this weekend? Not to worry, check back with us next week to see if we will be in a city near you soon! We want to try to reach as many of R followers as we can this year!
